How does clicSÉQUR contact you?
Communications provided by the clicSÉQUR team are sent exclusively via email and are of an informative nature. No message is sent by SMS or instant messaging.
What clicSÉQUR does not do
As part of its standard practice, the clicSÉQUR team never contacts account holders to ask them
- to provide personal information
- to respond to an email they received
- to click on a link
The only type of attachment that can be included in its emails is an English translation intended for clicSÉQUR users who are entitled to receive communications in English.
What kinds of emails does the clicSÉQUR team send?
With the exception of the email containing the verification code, the emails sent by the clicSÉQUR team always display at the top the signature of the Gouvernement du Québec, namely the word “Québec” and the Québec flag (fleurdelisé), as well as the visual of the clicSÉQUR service. You receive emails after the following:
- Creation of your clicSÉQUR account
- Retrieval of your user code
- Resetting or change of your clicSÉQUR password
- Cancellation of your clicSÉQUR account
- Change of your email address
- Sending of your verification code
For security reasons, a clicSÉQUR account not used for 24 months is automatically cancelled. In this case, you may receive an email indicating that
- your clicSÉQUR account will be cancelled in 30 days
- your clicSÉQUR account will be cancelled in 7 days
- your clicSÉQUR account has been cancelled
