If you have used an online service provided by a participating department or agency, you may already have a clicSÉQUR account.

Note that accounts that are inactive for more than 24 months are cancelled. In that case, a new account must be created and a new identifier (user code and password) must be chosen.

What should you do if you forget your user code?

Click on I have forgotten my user code and enter the email address associated with your clicSÉQUR account. Then the procedure differs according to the type of account you have.

If you have an account for which your identity has never been verified:

  • You will receive an email containing your user code.

If you have an account for which your identity has already been verified:

  • You will have to provide certain personal information to verify your identity.

What should you do if you forget the answer to a security question?

To reset your answers to your security questions, click on I have forgotten the answer to my security question. You will have to provide certain personal information to verify your identity.

What should you do if you forget your password?

Click on I have forgotten my password and provide the email address associated with your clicSÉQUR account to receive a temporary password.

You will then have to enter the temporary password on the screen and choose a new password.

What should you do if you do not have access to your email inbox?

If you do not have access to your email inbox, you will not be able to receive the verification code or a temporary password.

You can wait until you have access to your email again and come back later or provide personal information so that your identity can be verified.

You can then change your email address.

What should you do if you do not receive the verification code?

If you have just entered your email address, start by checking if you have entered it correctly.

If the problem is not the address, check if the message containing the code is in the spam folder.

If it is not there, wait five minutes then check again if the message is in your inbox or in your spam folder.

If you still have not received the code, click Back to request a new code.
